By accessing or using the website at alamedamasonry.com, or by engaging Alameda Masonry & Concrete for any services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or engage our services.
These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and anyone who contacts us through this website or by phone.
Alameda Masonry & Concrete is a licensed masonry contractor based in Alameda, CA. We provide masonry, brick, concrete, and related construction services to residential and commercial customers in Alameda and surrounding communities. The specific scope of work for each project is defined in a written estimate or contract provided before work begins. Services not listed in that written scope are not included unless added by written agreement.
All estimates are provided in writing and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. An estimate is not a final contract until both parties have signed a written agreement.
Prices are based on the conditions visible and accessible at the time of the estimate. If additional issues are discovered during the work that were not visible or known at the time of estimation, we will notify you in writing before proceeding with any additional scope and cost.
Permit fees, if required by the City of Alameda or another governing authority, are either included in the estimate or called out as a separate line item. We handle the permit application process on your behalf.
Project start dates are scheduled after a signed agreement and any required deposit are received. We will provide a start date and an estimated duration. Scheduling is subject to weather conditions, permit processing times, and material availability.
If you need to cancel or postpone a scheduled project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made fewer than 48 hours before a scheduled start date may result in a rescheduling fee. Any deposit paid may be applied to rescheduled work or forfeited in the event of a full cancellation, depending on the terms of your written agreement.
We reserve the right to reschedule work due to weather conditions that would compromise the quality or safety of the work. We will notify you as soon as possible if a weather delay is necessary.
Payment schedules are defined in the written project agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a deposit is due before work begins, and the remaining balance is due upon project completion.
Accepted payment methods will be specified in your project agreement. Invoices that are not paid within the agreed timeframe may be subject to a late fee. We reserve the right to suspend or stop work on projects where payment obligations are not met.
In the event that collection efforts are necessary to recover unpaid amounts, the customer agrees to be responsible for reasonable costs of collection, including attorney fees, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Alameda Masonry & Concrete warrants its workmanship for a period specified in the written project agreement. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and conditions. It does not cover damage caused by improper use, modifications made by others, natural disasters, acts of God, or normal wear and tear.
Except as expressly stated in the written project agreement, all services are provided "as is" and without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no warranty that any work product will be free from defects beyond the stated warranty period.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alameda Masonry & Concrete will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to the services provided or the use of this website. This includes, without limitation, lost profits, loss of use, or damage to property beyond what is directly caused by our negligence.
